Event: Remembering Wheeler
Date: 10/21/2019
Time: 6:30-8 p.m.
Location: Howe Memorial Library Breckenridge
128 E. Saginaw St., Breckenridge
Details: Many people now just know Wheeler as the stretch of M-46 where you have to slow down. But some of us remember it as a small town with numerous businesses and student filled schools. Perhaps you remember Bolt Buick and Huntoon Motor Sales? Neitzke’s Store? How about Fairbanks Grocery or Jerry’s Barber Shop? Maybe you attended school in the classic old school or new classroom building behind it? If you can say yes to any of these, we hope you will join us for a fun evening of reminiscing.

The program is co-hosted by the Howe Memorial Library and the Breckenridge Wheeler Area Historical Society and will begin with a brief photo presentation using images from the Historical Society’s collection followed by an open audience discussion moderated by BWAHS president Dave Briggs. Bring your Wheeler memories, pictures, and treasures to share!
