To complete the application, every applicant will need to provide...

 
  • Cumulative high school (or college if applicable) transcript reflecting a cumulative GPA
  • A copy of the Student Aid Report (SAR) only providing the calculated Expected Family Contribution (EFC) from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid-www.fafsa.ed.gov

Scholarships That Require Additional Documents


  • At least one letter of recommendation: Eagle Scout Scholarship, Anna Frutiger Memorial Scholarship, Gratiot County Fair For Youth Memorial Scholarship, Loren Humm Memorial Sugar Beet Grower's Scholarship, Robert W. MacDonald Memorial Scholarship, Loren and Becky Roslund Scholarship, Dale and Camille Weburg Scholarship, Youth Advisory Scholarship, Clyde and Maude Mizer Memorial Scholarship, Mildred Portner Chaffin Scholarship, Janet Cooper Abbot and Richard Abbot Scholarship, Harold B. Goodwin Memorial Scholarship.  For your convenience, you can now email requests for  your letters of recommendation through our online application platform.  Letters of recommendation can be easily submitted and tracked using our new online process.

Señora Kaufmann Memorial Scholarship

 
   

The Señora Kaufmann Memorial Scholarship was established in November 2020 by the family of Sally Kaufmann to honor her decades of service to teaching and continue her legacy in foreign language and education.  Señora Kaufmann’s passion for teaching Spanish and Hispanic culture, along with her special gift for connecting with her students and colleagues, made her a beloved educator.

Sally Kaufmann was dedicated to helping students further their education, achieve their goals, and literally explore the world.  She was a loyal confidant to countless students with whom she shared her wisdom and listened to their dreams. It is her family’s hope that the Señora Kaufmann Memorial Scholarship will assist Alma High School and other Gratiot County students pursue their passion in foreign language, travel, and international studies.
