About the Scholarship
Duaine Mizer, son of Clyde and Muade Mizer, passed away in 2007 and established this this scholarship in memory of his beloved parents. The value of hard work and the agricultural roots of this community were engrained in Mr. Mizer at a young age. He was very involved with FFA throuhgout his life both as a student then as an adult volunteer dedicated to building local FFA programs. It is no wonder that this scholarship is designated to support an outstanding FFA student at Breckenridge High School.
Number of Awards and Value
One scholarship available for as much as $1000.
Requirements
- Must be a graduating senior of Breckenridge High School pursuing post-secondary education;
- Must be a member of Breckenridge FFA;
- Consideration will be given to applicant’s proposed course of study, academic performance, character and financial need;
- Must submit at least one letter of recommendation from a member of the Breckenridge FFA Alumni Association.
