About the Scholarship

This scholarship supports Gratiot County students in the pursuit of post-secondary education in a vocational or skilled trades program. This scholarship is new to 2019 and will be awarded for the first time in 2020.

Number of Awards and Value


  • Must reside in Gratiot County or be a current or previous graduate of a Gratiot County High School;
  • Must be pursing post-secondary education in a certified vocational or skilled trades program or at an accredited college or university;
  • Must be pursuing an education in skilled industrial, mechanical, construction or similar trades;
  • Must demonstrate financial need;
  • Must explain briefly why he/she is deserving of this scholarship;
  • Preference is given to graduates of Fulton Schools, but not to the absolute exclusion of others;
  • Preference is given to previous recipients who reapply, but not to the absolute exclusion of others.
