About the Scholarship
This scholarship supports graduates of a Gratiot County high school, including graduating seniors, in obtaining a post-secondary degree in healthcare.
Number of Awards and Value
One scholarship for $600
Requirements
- Graduate of a Gratiot County high school (including graduating seniors).
- First preference given to a student pursuing undergraduate education in healthcare administration, allied health, or health science at a Michigan university or community college. Second preference given to a student pursuing graduate education in the above fields at either a university or community college in Michigan or outside of Michigan.
- Awarded primarily on financial need of student, but also taking into consideration academic prowess.
- 2.5 minimum grade point average (based on a 4.0 scale) at the time of application.
- Previous recipients may reapply without preference.
