About the Scholarship
This scholarship will support graduates of a Gratiot County high school, including graduating seniors, pursuing post-secondary education at a college or university.
Number of Awards and Value
One scholarship for $600
Requirements
- Graduate of a Gratiot County high school, including graduating seniors, pursuing post-secondary education at a college or university.
- Undergraduate and graduate education level of study supported.
- For pursuit of a degree in public service, including, but not limited to, political science, policy studies, public administration, non-profit management, teaching, education, social work, public health, etc. or for pursuit of a degree in special education.
- Preference given to those demonstrating financial need.
- 2.5 minimum grade point average (based on a 4.0 scale).
- Must provide evidence of service to community.
- Submit one letter of recommendation from a non-family member (example: teacher, advisor, clergy, etc.) attesting to community service and high moral character.
